The Spirit of our Founder
Our founder, who had been engaged in sales of cosmetics for many years in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, set up our company, an OEM cosmetics manufacturer in 1989 in Ogaki, where she is originally from, by optimizing her experiences in the field in order to bring the cosmetics whose benefits she can see and feel on her own skin to the market.
With the concept of having customers make their own cosmetics, we are also focusing on selling handmade cosmetics ingredients and materials online.
In the City of Water blessed with nature and rich in history
Our company is located in a corner of an industrial complex dotted with pear orchards, with a distant view of the Yoro Mountains, Okumino Mountain, and Ibuki Mountain. Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, is known as the “City of Water” because of its abundant water resources and excellent water quality, making it a particularly suitable environment for our cosmetics manufacturing.
The city is also the birthplace of modern botany where Dr Yokusai Iinuma, who played an important role as a doctor as well as a botanist, published “Kusaki Zukan (Tree and Plants Illustrated)” using the western botanical classification by Linné for the first time in Japan during the final years of Edo period.
It can be said that our company, which incorporates Japanese and Chinese medical herb essence into the cosmetics to create a cosmetics line containing medical herb lithospermum for instance, has been nurtured by nature and history of Ogaki City.
